Session Description:
Organizations create increasingly large amounts of data in connection with their business operations and must rely on visualization tools to understand and communicate their positions, and to optimize their results. This session will discuss how visualization needs can vary by process — return preparation, return review, and showcasing results for management — and provide examples of how visualization tools can be used effectively for direct and indirect taxes.
Learning Objectives:
After the session, attendees will be able to: (1) understand the basic framework (including best practices) to empower in-house tax professionals on their technology journey, (2) analyze common concerns and considerations that arise during the technology journey, and (3) assess commonalities and differences in tools required for the tax team.
